In order to minimize pool drownings of yound children, the U.S. Consumer Products Safety Commission developed swimming pool guidelines. These guidelines are not mandatory. They are voluntary guidelines and recommendations.
Florida is one of four states: Arizone, California, Florida and Oregon – to have entaced safety laws requiring some type of fencing around residential swimming pools.

Thank you for creating this safety list. My wife and I just had a new born and want to make sure we do everything possible to ensure that our pool is safe for our kids and the kids that will come to our pool.
This list must be put up at every building with a public pool. Thanks for providing our community this list.
