What to Expect

When you first contact us, either by telephone or through this website, your call will be handled by one of our experienced attorneys. We will ask you pointed questions so that we can make an immediate initial assessment of whether or not we think that you have a potential case. If we think that you do, we will schedule an appointment for you to come into our office to meet with one of our attorneys, or if you are unable to travel, we will send an attorney to meet you at your home or hospital.

During this initial meeting, we will gather background information from you regarding your potential case. We will also talk about your medical, employment and family history. It is very important that you provide us at this time with any paperwork you have with respect to your case (police report, medical records, etc.). We will also, of course, answer any questions that you may have about the process of how a lawsuit works, your specific case, etc. We will explain to you exactly what to expect, so that you are not surprised by anything that happens with respect to your case.

After this initial meeting, your case will be discussed at the weekly meeting of all of the attorneys in our office. As a group, we will make an assessment of whether we think that you have a viable case. If we think that you do, your case will be assigned to one of our partners who will be responsible for your case from its inception through its conclusion.
